What a lovely busy week we have had. We read the story of The Gruffalo and wrote about it using our clever phonic knowledge. Our writing was so fantastic that we put it on the wall for everyone to see. In yoga, we re-told the story using our bodies!
We learned a great song about shapes and then went around school as shape detectives. Our Piccolo music was good fun, as we listened carefully to follow the instructions and played some musical instruments. The sand was fun to find the numbers and write them using the paintbrush. We had to think carefully about how to form the numbers correctly!
For the year of Mary, we took part in an assembly about Remembrance Sunday. We put coloured ribbons on a tree to signify, peace, unity and love.
Ted has also begun his adventures of coming home with the children. Please could he just stay for one sleepover and don't feel that you have to put anything in his book!
We took part in Children in Need day and raised lots of money.
