So we have come to the end of another busy term!
In English we have been learning to write letters. We have learned what the key features of a letter are and how to set out a letter.
In maths we have been learning to measure using standard units. We had great fun measuring weight and volume especially using water!
In science we came to the end of our unit on materials. We carried out an investigation to find out the most suitable material for making an umbrella.
We had a quick visit form the chicks last week. What a lively bunch they were!
Or focus in RE has been the events of Holy Week.
We spent time in our prayer room thinking about the journey Jesus made and trying to answer some big and difficult questions about the moment Jesus spoke to his mother and closest friend, Peter.
On Wednesday, following a whole school service based on the Stations of the Cross, we spent time visiting our individual prayer stations.
Our focus this week has been the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We looked for the story in the Bible, locating the final words said by Jesus. As a mark of respect we took time to Venerate the Cross and pray.
We created our Wonder Wall based around an image of the last Supper.
Thank you children for working so hard this term you really do deserve a rest. Enjoy the Easter holiday and have lots of fun.
