As part of our Design and Technology topic, we went to visit Ann and Bob of Hexhamshire Organics on their Fruit and Veg Farm. They told us all about how they are using sustainable methods to grow their seasonal fruit and vegetables, as well as how they look after their pigs, ducks and chickens in a free-range way. We learnt a lot about transplanting, seasonality and what organic means.
