Friday 12th October
We had a fantastic visit to Newcastle on Monday. First, we had a tour of the city on top of the tour bus. Our task was to identify and name statues and buildings in Newcastle. Then, we went to the Baltic Art Centre. Here we had the most spectacular view of the River Tyne and some of the wonderful bridges. Our task was to draw one of the bridges we could see.
It was then time to go to the Keep. Our tour guide was David. He told us lots of facts about the castle and keep.
We had a great day learning even more about our amazing city.
On Thursday the Tyne Bridge turned 90 years old. We celebrated by creating Tyne Bridge pictures using paint and collage materials.
This week Class Collective Worship was planned and led by Callum, Olivia and Jiatong.
