Our penultimate week in Year 4 is over! We have all had a fantastic week!
In English, we have been continuing our 'geordie dialect' unit and have now planned our poem! We even went on a virtual school trip all over the North East to visit famous places and landmarks that remind us of Newcastle!
In French this week, we looked at French Independence Day! The children learnt the three words associated with this day (liberty, equality and fraternity) and wrote them onto a French flag!
On Thursday, we had our First Holy Communion picnic outside on the field. We celebrated by singing hymns, saying prayers and even had a visit from Deacon John and Father Jonathan!
Friday was Diversity Day and the children learnt all about Australasia! We created a fact file on the continent and had a brilliant time designing a St Oswald shield dedicated to the continent!
Have a wonderful weekend and I will see you all bright and early on Monday!
