What a fantastic last week of the half term we have had in Year 4!
In English, we have been writing some amazing haiku poems all about our happy places! The children thought hard about where makes them happiest and then wrote some beautiful poems all about them!
In DT, we finished our money wallets! Although this has been a tricky process, the children have all worked really hard at their sewing skills and finished with some brilliant end products!
On Tuesday, we took part in a History workshop with Durham University! We learnt all about how we could identify a Shang artifact and how archeologists can investigate what they were used for!
Finally, we ended our music notation unit by taking part in some composition! Using the knowledge we have gained over the past 6 weeks, the children used notation to compose their own piece of music on the glockenspiels!

Thank you for a brilliant half term and I hope you have a relaxing and safe break!
